Marko Čepak and Riccardo Chiarion are old friends and decided to play together to develop the sound of the guitar duo.

Marko Čepak and Riccardo Chiarion have had many international collaborations in their careers including collaborations with the American guitarist John Stowell, the Brazilian guitarist Nelson Veras, the English pianist John Taylor and the Canadian trumpeter Kenny Wheeler.

In this duo Riccardo and Marko play a selection of original songs composed specifically for their duo. Their interpretation is at times rarefied and introspective and at other times rhythmic and gritty. The improvised counterpoint is always present and, given that the two musicians know each other very well, it almost seems as if the smallest details were notated beforehand.
